Lycaeides melissa
Butterfly of the LYCAENIDAE family. Aproximatly 1 inch in wingspan. Species prefers open spaces such as meadows of clover, fields of alfalfa, and grassland prairies.
I haven't been to your photo blog for a while! Sorry! This picture of Kirk and I is on my piano (8x10) and is so so beautiful!!!! I love it!!! You have to come to Boise to do our pictures again next year ok?
